The Artist
Since Julie Morgan moved to the Bellarine Peninsula Victoria in 2021, her art has expanded beyond watercolour into a playful journey of richly layered mixed‑media. Using handmade collage papers, gel prints, inks, watercolour, acrylics, gouache or charcoal, her art reflects connection to nature and inspiration gained travelling.
Art retreats in Greece and Morocco with Debbie MacKinnon and Mike Staniford and workshops with Rachel Moodie, Jodie Graham and Ryan Brearley among others, has shaped her work.
Julie is on the Bellarine Arts Trail Committee and Queenscliff Neighbourhood House Gallery Committee and exhibits frequently. Two of her collages received 'People’s Choice Award' in 2026 at the House Gallery.
